Naturopathic Living a busy wellness clinic located in downtown Markham. Our clinic has a strong focus on brain health, women’s health, and anti-aging, and we are seeking a motivated new graduate looking for a mentorship opportunity, to join our team full-time as a salaried employee.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced NDs, chiropractor, acupuncturist, and technician. Dr. Debbie Smrz is the clinic owner and will be your main mentor. She was trained in German Biological Medicine and was fortunate to have strong mentors in her early years and is excited to pass her knowledge on to a new grad.
Our clinic has been a pillar of the Unionville community for over 11 years, and we are dedicated to providing our patients with the highest level of care.
Qualifications:
– You are a new graduate who is a member of the Canadian College of Naturopaths
– You are an energetic team player with an interest in brain health, anti-aging and hormonal health
– You have strong organization and time management skills
– You possess a high level of diagnostic, therapeutic, and communication skills and are motivated to work in a busy clinic environment
– You are certified to perform IV therapy, along with all necessary requirements to practice IV therapy in Ontario, or are working on obtaining this in the next calendar year
– You have your prescribing license or are planning on getting it within the next calendar year.
Key Duties:
– ND patient consultations
– Assessments
– Performing therapies for Dr. Smrz’s patients (IV therapy, B12 shots)
– Acute visits for patients of the clinic
– Covering vacation days of ND and admin
– 1-3 IV shifts a week
– Administrative duties
– Very occasionally filling in for front desk duties
– Networking, Research & Marketing Activities (10 hours per week)
– Networking meetings with allied health care practitioners in the area
– Conducting public lectures (in office and out of office)
– Write articles and blogs for local publications and the clinic website
– Create videos and content for social media
