A Graduate of the University of Toronto with a Double Major of Biology, Psychology and a minor in French, Daniel is an integrative practitioner at heart. Having spent two years at the St. George’s University M.D. program, Daniel made his way back home to his hometown of Markham where he found his true love in Naturopathic medicine. He graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in May of 2016 having completed a one year internship where he chose to serve a predominantly male population.
Daniel believes in the four C’s of patient care which are being Clear, Comprehensive, Compassionate and Cause-Centred. He has honed a very strong skillset in patient education attempts to not leave a visit without providing a clear understanding of your condition, a comprehensive approach to your health, a focus on the root causes of illness, and a spirit of support and compassion. Daniel has a special interest in Men’s Health as well as in particular cardiovascular health, mental health, fertility, erectile dysfunction, chronic conditions and prostatic health. Being an eclectic he is more than able and willing to help any member of the family from newborns and to help in counselling all members of the family towards the goal of better health. From the elderly to the childen he believes our health has a ripple effect everywhere we go, in our families, in our workplaces, and in our communities.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Daniel is a devout Christian, who places the Lord Jesus Christ above all in his life. He regularly attends Grace Chapel Markham, where he serves as an usher and a member of the set up and clean up team. He is also an avid poet and basketball fan. Likewise Daniel is a two time Reach for the Top champion and has a wealth of general knowledge, so feel free to try to stump the doctor! Finally, Daniel is a Raptors, Bills, Leafs and Jays fan, and is ready to bring out the champion in you at any chance he gets.
