About Psychotherapy


  • Member of the Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
  • Master of Science Degree in Counselling Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Prescott College in Arizona.
  • Studied the integration of Western and Buddhist psychological theories in regards to the treatment of eating disorder and co-occurring issues.
  • Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto with a focus on psychology, philosophy, and Buddhism in relation to mental health.
  • Extensive training in cognitive reconstruction, which is used to help individuals recover from eating disorders and co-occurring issues.
  • Receives regular clinical supervision.

  • Works collaboratively with clients to reach personal therapeutic goals and attain full recovery.
  • Supportive, compassionate, warm, honest, and respectfully challenging.

Treatment Modalities

  • Theoretical approach is humanistic-existential.
  • Adapts and integrates several therapeutic techniques including cognitive therapy, role play, art therapy, mindfulness, and Buddhist psychology.
  • The significance of socio-cultural context, gender, sexual orientation and spirituality of each client is always taken into consideration.
  • Collaboration with other medical professionals is sometimes required when working with clients with eating disorders and co-occurring issues.

  • Intake and consultation session (1hr):       $120
  • Individual sessions (1hr):                                   $120
  • Couples sessions (1 hr):                                      $120
  • Family sessions (1.5 hrs):                                   $180

Sliding scale/reduced rates available.

Payment is required at the time of the appointment. Cash, cheque, and email transfers are accepted.

Treatment by a psychotherapist is not currently covered under OHIP.

Some extended health plans may cover such services. Please confirm your coverage with your insurance provider.
