Stress Measurement/ Adrenal Gland Function
Extreme and chronic stress has become common in our modern world. The main stress hormone, cortisol, is involved in metabolism, inflammation, allergies, hormone, and thyroid function. This urine test is used to assess and monitor adrenal stress reactions. It can identify the normal adrenal function, hyper adrenal states, early and later adrenal exhaustion. We will use this information in your individualized care plan.
Leaky Gut/ Dysbiosis
The Indican test is a test for bowel toxicity and screens your urine for the presence of a metabolite called indican. Increasing levels of indican indicate dysbiosis, bowel toxemia, and other digestive complaints. Dysbiosis is a contributor to intestinal permeability, allergies, and food intolerances, poor detoxification, and can affect brain health.
Darkfield/Live Cell Microscopy
Darkfield microscopy is a tool used to analyze a patient’s blood, allowing a more detailed picture of their overall terrain. Important information is gleamed on the following:
- immune system health
- nutritional health
- excretory and detoxification capacity
- oxygen utilization
- propensity towards degenerative tendencies
All it takes is a small drop of blood. We project the image onto a large screen so you have the opportunity to see for yourself what your cells are doing. Anyone with chronic disease, prone to recurrent infections, interested in optimal health and disease prevention, or with questions concerning toxicity can benefit from an analysis. I consider this one of the most important tests at the clinic. From here we can see what direction nutritionally we need to follow, as well as if the care is working for you.
Please note that Darkfield live blood analysis is a functional test to ascertain additional information, but is not a diagnostic tool. If necessary, conventional lab testing will be suggested to confirm findings.
Preparing for your darkfield examination
Fast for a minimum of 4 hours, preferably 6 prior to your assessment. Try to eat your normal diet and take your normal supplements the day prior to your test as we are trying to assess what your bodies normal is under your current regime.
Indican

Blood Typing
Blood from a finger prick is used to determine a blood type of A, B, AB or O. Knowing your blood type can be beneficial for the blood type diet.
Acid-Base Taste
This test gives a brief insight into digestive health, healthy detoxification, zinc, and acid levels.
Iodine Patch
